Through studying the Zodiac in a variety of vedic astrology books and magazines individuals are capable of learning so much about their inner selves through their horoscopes. With this comes the understanding and the knowledge that the Zodiac is much more personalized with the understanding that the sun represents an individuals inner nature, personalities, and characteristics.

The sun represents the inner nature, personality, and character of the individual. Aquarius is the eleventh sign of the Zodiac and is a known as a masculine sign that is ruled by the planet Saturn, which is known to be serious, and also the planet Uranus, which is outrageous. Aquarius rules over intelligence and originality and is one of the air signs. This tends to make the individuals who are born under the sign of Aquarius to be inventive, intelligent, and unorthodox.

The planet Saturn is known to be the ruler of outer darkness, while the planet Uranus contains an erratic energy that can be electric, which tends to make these individuals unpredictable. However, due to Saturn and its restrictive influences these individuals born under the sign of Aquarius often exhibit a substantial amount of personal stability and work if it is in a type of structured environment.

These individuals are not the best cooks in the world, but they will eat just about any thing. They do have a tendency for being lazy and can be hesitant to participate in any type of activities that they feel or see as boring. As far as sports go, Aquarius individuals will participate, but only if they have a partner or as part of a team, because they are not very competitive nor enthusiastic about participating one on one. They have very little trouble being able to keep physically fit and enjoy participating in such sports as tennis, swimming, racquetball, and baseball. You accept the substantial alterations in life as a challenge, but are quite averse to those small changes which can throw a spanner in the works.
